I need humor in my life in the worst way. Things are busy for me, and I am in dire need of relief. Humor has been a called "good medicine" so I think it is time to take some. With that said, I am calling all comedians, witty enthusiasts, brats, and anyone else who would like to join in on Silly Society Day.
At this time, I think the world needs humor that is why I am setting aside one day out of the week to be Silly Society Day. I cannot decide on a day by myself, and I really wouldn't want to. Instead, I am going to make a poll to let the readers of this blog make that decision with the most popular answer. In the event of a tie, there will be two Silly Society Days! Double the humor!

How about Fridays? It would be good to look forward to during the week and a good way to start the down time that can happen during time away from work.

This is a brilliant Idea, well done Serpent's Embrace. How where you thinking about working it, asking for contributions and then posting it here or some other way?

Prefectdt - I am glad you think it is a brilliant idea. Thank you! You hit the nail on the head. My plan was to organize it like Bonnie does her Sunday Brunches. I will ask for contributions and post an edited summary. If you have any other suggestions, I am more than willing to take them under advisement. Either Friday like Greenwoman suggested or Monday like you suggest sounds good to me. I am not sure how the results of the poll will turn out, but I am open to two days a week or possibly alternating between the two.
